Daily Reflection

Today i found alot of information on my topic. I found out that Block Island has 17 miles of beaches, 365 freshwater ponds, and that the bluffs are 250 feet tall. Another question I found the answer to was: What are other ways to get around the island besides renting mopeds and bikes. I discovered that they have taxis, airplanes, cars and horseback riding that can get you around. After visiting Block Island a few times, i had an idea of what activities they had for visitors but had researched and discovered they had more than what i expected. These include scuba diving, kayaking, parasailing, playing tennis, croquet or basketball, horseback riding, sailing, live entertainment, banana boats and charter boats. Some attractions that are on Block Island are their lighthouses and the Fred Benson Beach Pavillion. The last thing i found today is that Block Island is home to 800 residents during the winter season. Also a new question that i have about my topic is do they have schools on the Island. The only problem i encountered today is that i dont know if i will be able to find the answer to some of my more detailed questions. Tomorrow i am going to try to find another website that has more information on Block Island. The one i used today was recommended by Mrs.Doherty and helped me with finding alot of information. The url is here
