Daily Reflection

Today i visited other websites to try and find more information on my topic. One of the questions i had was when was the island found and i found a website that gave me alot of information about the islands history. The link is here. I discovered that the island was named after Adrian Block who found it in 1614 and that it wasn't settled until 1661. The first people to settle here were the Naragansett Indians who called the island "Manisses" which meant the "Island of the Little God" Also, Block Island is celebrating their 350th anniversary this year. Another thing i was curious to find out is if Block Island had a school system and found their website that showed me they did. I have not come up with any new questions for today.Overall, i think i found alot of helpful information today using a variety of different places.
