Daily Reflection
Today i decided to do research about the labrynth they have at block island. I have been to this labrynth before but not known stuff about it. I learned that when you go to the labrynth you are supposed to walk the whole thing and then put something in the middle. Also walking the labrynth is a ritual people have kept for thousands of years. i got this information from the link here. Block Island has two lighthouses, the North Lighthouse and the Southeast lighthouse. The Southeast lighthouse has recently had construction done on it to restore the look. These lighthouses still work and help provide light for sailers throughout the day. The island has had at least five major shipwrecks and divers to this day like diving at some of these spots. I also found alot of information about their history on this website.

I remember going to Block Island as a kid and thinking it was the greatest place on Earth. You give off the same feeling through your blog. It really is great. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteTaylor, first off, your background is so cool because it basically cooresponds with your topic, which is funny. I have never been to Block Island, unless I was a baby, but I don't have any knowledge of it but reading your posts, it is exciting to learn about Block Island. You are doing a good job collecting information. Good luck with your project.
